taking weed to eliminate shyness

desperate measures an all that. im thinking of taking weed, i heard it will destroy shyness. im not actually sure where to get any. i dont know if i even will. its just shyness is killing me, and i feel weed may help. anyone with shyness will know why i ask. i have a on off gf but apart from that im very lonely.

so if anyone can offer me advice or wether i should do it or not, please help me out, dont say i should talk to frank or aything like that preferably.

nah its bad for you
Your first problem is 'taking weed.' I wouldn't advise referring to it as 'taking' it as that's not really said, ever.

Secondly, alcohol's better with shyness. You need to be comfortable with people you're around if you want to get a good buzz going, you'd probably just end up getting really paranoid that they didn't like you.

seriously weed won't help you. you will probably seem quite weird to other people if you are high when you meet them.

and alcohol isnt bad in moderation!

you cant get weed online you need to know people
Nah don't do that. You won't be shy perhaps, but you'll be forever known as "that stoned weirdo".
Weed has the potential to make you act like a bit of a freak, plus if you are nervous in social situations it could turn that into paranoia, which wouldn't be nice at all.

okay what others drugs could be better for shyness? seeing as everyone is hating on weed
Alcohol is best tbh

The best antidote for shyness is practice. Alcohol and other drugs are only temporary solutions.

Go out there and just talk to people. Sure, It will be terrifying at first. But once you talk to one person, you will have more courage to talk to a second. Eventually you will accumulate enough confidence.
Smoking weed to cure shyness is like eating cream cakes to get skinny. Rethink.

Weed, unless you're with other stoned people, would just make you look a little bit weird. I'm not actually against weed, but it's terrible for socialising with new people.

Weed can raise all kinds of mental illness issues which last for the rest of your life. Don't risk the potentially awful ramifications of cannabis because it's just not worth it.

nah im sure it will be fine dont worry
Alcohol > Weed in this situation.
Have you tried coffee instead. That works to some degree.
there must be a way
Meeting new people when you're stoned is horrible. You'll sit there and over-analyise everything you're doing and thinking of saying and just have a weird, paranoid, silent conversation with yourself while staring at the ceiling.
