Laptop suggestions for CSM?

Hi, I'm about to start my foundation at CSM (doing the diagnostic pathway) and I need a new laptop anyway as my old one has died. Does anyone have an recommendations of what they use/what most students have? I'm not really bothered about really complex stuff, but am interested in doing some animation/film making. Do they work mostly on Macs or Windows, and which should I have? Thanks :smile:

Hi, I am going to do the same course!! and I just bought a 13-inch macbook pro two weeks ago.
it goes fast when I am using photoshop but it gives out a lot of heat if I watch a video.
the weight is like perfect for carrying to school but I think you might need a bigger one for better cooling effect?
