Midwifery Entry Requirements can any students help me?

I got a C in Core Science & D in additional and another uni have already said for C in Science I wouldn't meet the entry requirements, I'm still waiting on a reply from Hull, however the website states Science GCSE grade C or above, or unless inherent in a current course of study., I'm doing A-Level Sociology, where it says inherent in a current course of study, would Sociology as a social science be acceptable do you think? Thanks for any help

Hi, i emailed about this also... the reply i got was...

"You would need some level 3 qualifications, which are A level standard, to meet the qualifications criteria for Midwifery. You are correct that the Access to a Higher Education Diploma is accepted for entry as it is a level 3 qualification. Many of our mature students come to us through this route and it is a tried and tested path in to higher education. The University Certificate in Practice Skills for Health and Social Care programme, which is a part-time course, is also used for entry purposes. http://www2.hull.ac.uk/fhsc/courses/universitycertificate.aspx For a full list of the entry requirements please seehttp://www2.hull.ac.uk/pgmi2/ug/courses/midwifery-bsc.aspx "
