where are people finding out information about wristbands and stuff? haha
Yeah, I found out about it from last years stuff. It was all on the SU website, and I just estimated from that.

I don't think the bus passes are great value... Don't you to renew halfway through the year, and the first payment alone is £130? In Manchester, a years travel is only £110...
Seriously?? I have to pay £32 a month for all zone metro travel! More if I want to use the bus! D:

Oh... I thought that was about the average for students hahaa, I guess Manchester scholars are just lucky!! (:

The Hull bus pass confuses me though... You can only use it at certain times (not past mudnight or something, so you'd still have to pay extra to come home after nights out) so would it be better to get the discount pass and pay all year? I'm so confused! Sorry for being thick if I'm missing something...?
    (:

EDIT: Nevermind got a callback and apparently 2 people with the same name crashes the system, we both got half of each others contract haha! All sorted now, I'm in Grant!

I guess you are lol. I have the student pass, but it's still expensive. :/ Saying that mind, it about halves the price of travel if I was gonna travel without the pass.
You do have a cheap transport system- it's like a financial holiday for me whenever I visit my family in Manchester. XD

I haven't really checked it out, but seeing as I'm in the lawns, it's probably worth it. I'm gonna check it out when I get there I think, it's too confusing online.

Oh I'm not from Manchester, my fella goes to uni there, so I'm just there a lot. But the day-to-day to let's are like a second mortgage haha, you're so right!

I'm in Lawns too, which hall are you in? I'm confused by the web page too, it's not all that clear!

I'm going to have to start cooking a lot over the next few months if I'm to avoid only having sandwiches to eat (other than the catered meals ).

And the bus pass is really cheap compared to what I pay at the moment  (£18.50 per week)

Ah right lol. Where are you from then?
I'm looking forward to moving to Hull mind, it'll be so cheap compared to Newcastle.

    I'm in Ferens. You?
I'm just gonna wait for the Welcome Pack (if I get in! ) to sort everything out. :P

Ah cool, my dad lives in Tibshelf! Yeah, according to the open day, Hull is in the top three cheapest cities in the UK. XD Must be harsh for anyone coming from the other two. :P
Nice, there seem to be a lot of people from Nicholson on this forum. :P
It kinda does, but it's less than three months, and I'm away most of July, so for me it's not that far away.... Results day feels just around the corner, and I can't wait. I just want to know now. :/

    114 so pretty close!

I think, given how many houses the uni owns, the chances of finding someone in your house is remote but here's hoping!
