Really don't mean to be rude or anything but why do Srilankans have long names? I heard it's because it contains their grandfather's and father's name or something?
Didn't some type of genocide go on there ?

Not only the British but we had repetitive genocides on both sides by Dutch and Portuguese and the Brit did worse when they left our island by giving the power to one side on purpose they knew we couldn't live as one country they used the divide and rule policy.
