Oh of course - but the fact that they're offering to ship her to Russia is a dead giveaway. And the looks thing is entirely subjective..

Dodgy as hell.

You need to tell her and her parents. If her parents aren't enough, the police!!!!
I once spent a summer with Russians who probably looked dodgy, they were wonderful company, very kind and humble. Don't jump to conclusions, but her boyfriend should know if it's not platonic.
