University which will allow me to have a good social life? (UK)

So I'm looking to apply to universities and as I am planning to spend a number of years at the same place, around the same people, I don't want to regret my choice.

Looking for a university which is very ethnically diverse and offers a range of social activities so was thinking that London was the best place. Any other suggestions or suggestions of specific unis within London?

Also note that I'm not interested in any unis in Birmingham as I want to move out for uni. Thanks
