Why do so people read the Sun?

Agreed. The Mail pretends to be something that it isn't.

So this is a question why do so many people read the Sun newspaper when it's full of bogus crap, also not forgetting the naked page 3 girl.

Would like to know what both male and females think.

Wrong.

I doubt the majority of the many female readers of The Sun purchase the newspaper to look at page 3.

I read the Daily Mail every day, read the Sun like twice, what a load of ****.

If I see the Sun I will open page 3 and look at it and then burn the rest of the paper...

I would say that anyone who reads it to be "educated" is potentially stupid. But reading it for the page 3 content, they could just be amoral (not saying that reading page 3 is necessarily immoral), and pleasure-seeking.

Even some of the brightest people like naked ladies. Andrew Wiles must've got a hard-on for his wife to reproduce with her (though perhaps he got his hard-on from maths), as must Einstein, Timothy Gowers, Kurt Cobain and countless others who are clever in one way or another.
I don't associate myself with anyone who does. Jkjkjk

I just don't know people who admit reading it!

George Clooney prefers The Sun to the Daily Mail.

Then again, I believe he also prefers sticking a sharp stick in his eye socket to the Daily Mail.

I'm a 15 year old male, I think the Sun are a bunch of *****, Page 3 is just ridiculous when people now have instant access to internet porn. They were disrespectful as **** when Hillsborough happened (I'm an everton fan) and I have a paper round where I deliver 8 Suns. I just don't understand how people can read this. They also chat rubbish about all of their stories and hack people's answer machines to find stuff out. Bunch of low-lifes.

Wasn't the hacking from News of the World?

People don't believe what they read in The Sun, they read it to be entertained.

I would suggest that your teacher was actually referring to the Daily Mail, the main problem with which is that people do believe "that crap".

And how would you know that? Nope, my teacher said THE SUN is read because most people have a low reading level and are uneducated and it suits them to read that crap and believe it.

Any evidence to support this.

I'm sure that your teacher did refer to The Sun.
I'm equally sure that they are just demonstrating their personal prejudices.
Approx two thirds of The Sun's readership is ABC1C2.
