UCAS Unconditional offer (held as insurance)?

What does this mean, someone please explain.

Does it mean if i dont meet my firm choice, I will be accepted in my insurance choice depsite result?? thankss

Yes, if your insurance is unconditional it means you have a place there even if you don't get the grades.

/thanks but im confused because my offer was conditional, im sure it was so how can the insurance be unconditional now
