Lafrowda Merrivale House, Block T

I am a post graduate coming to Exerter in September. I have applied for my accommodation and i have been given a Single Studio at Lafrowda Merrivale House, Block T. I was hoping someone would advice me further. How far away is Lafrowda block T from Streatham campus, and do i have to walk up cardiac hill (i think it's called). As a post graduate i was also wondering if it would be better to live in one of those off campus studios such as exerter trust house. I keep reading that Lafrowda doesn't have very nice buildings, are the studios the same then or are they new? Lastly, how are Lafrowda studios compared to Birks grange village studios?

Lafrowda is on the Streatham campus, and you wouldn't have to walk up Cardiac Hill - it's Birks that's at the bottom of it (although it's really not that bad). Lafrowda studios aren't in the old 60s buildings (which are also really not bad anyway); the studio block is a few years old any the studios themselves are identical to the ones at Birks.
