Why is misogyny more acceptable than racism?

1. Its a forum. I can participate. You can not stop me.

2. And you feel the need to show your hate for Islam and impose you thoughts on everyone. If you don't want to live in Saudi Arabia then don't live there. The same way I don't want to live there nor do I want to live in las vegas. But I don't go around questioning people that why you chose this or that.

3 Like I said give it a rest.

This is a debate forum, questioning people who have different views is exactly what should be going on here. If you don't like it, don't read it.

Can you actually answer the question though instead of playing the whole 'holier than thou' role.

Why is misogyny more acceptable than racism?

Well your attitude towards people who chose to live in KSA was the same as 'holier than thou'

And to answer your question, its always the men putting women down regardless if they are religious or not. 'Women belong in kitchen'. That's the phrase I have heard more in the West.

Correct, I strongly dislike Islam. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

You asked where people would want to live not which one is a better society as a whole. I have a penis, I can drive in either, I am not required to cover myself in a veil in either, and I don't need to be escorted in either.

Can you imagine a woman being so blasé about choosing to move to a country that treated men like this?

But people can hate black women. :K:

Not legally
Athiests like you talking about misogyny is just a proper joke, when you advocate for the legalisation of prostitution (despite the stats on those who ended up being forced), think pornography liberalises women (despite the many women who say they have to do it because of money, and if they had other options, they wouldn't) and think women having to sell themselves and appear naked in magazines, for primarily financial reasons is something to be proud of. I've said it before, you don't give a toss about women, this is you trying to pass off your hatred towards Islam, as caring about women, but they see straight through your BS and that's why it hasn't stopped women from converting to the religion

How special that you think atheism is a political or religious movement. 'Atheists' don't advocate anything. Atheists lack belief in a god. That is the extent of their affiliation to each other.
Islam will prevail. Long live palestine.
Racism is just hard to understand unless you experience it yourself. It literally stings and physically hurts.
But it's not to say that this treatment of the women is not disgusting. I just think that this is another issue that people don't realize right now how awful it is until 50 years from now. People used to think that being racist is OK, now it's unacceptable behaviour. I think with time people will start to open their minds. I have hope in the next generation down in Saudi Arabia!

Las Vegas sounds like an awful immoral place, it'd be very difficult to find a decent person there in my opinion. Also, the false sense of freedom in the USA isn't very appealing to me.

Saudi on the other hand has some very beautiful places, and it's advancing in tech at an astonishing rate whereas the USA is yet to repair the damage of Katrina.
Tbh I don't think your poll is very statistically significant. A disproportionate chunk of the vote was probably Muslims who would rather live in a place where they could be surrounded by people of the same religion. Las Vegas is also renowned for being a hub for gambling, drink and the sex trade - generally frowned upon by Islam. I don't think even Americans would want to live in Vegas really, it's more of a getaway - like how many Brits might visit Malia/Magaluf etc but dread living there 24/7.

But to answer your question, I think that in general, British people regard the treatment of women in Riyadh as a completely different culture. Most people I know wouldn't live there if you paid them. I think many people would hesitate to criticise such places due to our history of white imperialism etc.

Las Vegas is a tacky awful place, so I would much rather go to Riyadh, which with its http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Museum_of_Saudi_Arabia seems a less disgustingly ostentatious and avarious place as well as more cultured city.

Possessing the largest university for women in the world http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Nora_bint_Abdulrahman_University. Riyadh is hardly misogynistic. Maybe women are not able to get to the top there on their aesthetic features as so many do in the Western world but that is hardly the most pressing of concerns.

I also notice that your profile picture is one of a scantily clad woman, no one likes a white knight they are dull and there is nothing worse than a hypocritical white knight.

Wow, imagine having the right to only go to university with people of the same sex.

Apparently in 2009 the first coed university opened in Saudi Arabia. Only 150 years or so behind the UK...

Didn't someone tell you not to believe everything from Wikipedia?

Complete cop-out of a response. If you're so fussed you can look at the sources they provide. Occasionally there are factual errors but there really would be no point of the website if it were not largely accurate. And there is no particular reason for these articles to be inaccurate.

I'm guessing you never use wikipedia, then?
Criticisms against the OP aside, people actually voted for Saudi over Las Vegas? Like, seriously?

Haha your a joker mate, so you would believe other twerps that edit a wiki page? Makes total sense. I suggest you ask your parents on how to make a proper judgement with proper knowledge.

Firstly, it's "you're" not "your". I certainly trust Wikipedia over someone who is semi-literate.

Secondly, Bulbasaur summed it up perfectly in response to someone else:

Thirdly:

Wikipedia is as accurate as Encyclopedia Britannica
