There are lots of extra-Biblical stories about what Jesus did between the ages of 12 and 30, as the Bible itself is silent on this period.

For example, William Blake's poem "and did those feet in ancient time" is about the idea that Jesus visited England as a young man.

And did those feet in ancient time
Walk upon England's mountains green:
And was the holy Lamb of God,
On England's pleasant pastures seen!

Linked to that is that is the idea that Joseph of Arimathea carried the holy grail to Glastonbury.

The mormons even have a whole religion about Jesus coming back to Pre Columbian America.

This Japan one is great, but it doesn't really look like it's caught on, does it?

When INDIA was the central place for all spiritual studies & knowledge ( 2000 years back…Takshila-Nalanda-VikramShila & other universities & thousands of Buddhist Mat-Vihar-Chaitya-SangaRam…)…Why Jesus came all the way to JAPAN…???
Some Buddhist scripts found in Leh-Ladakh tell, Jesus came to INDIA & studied Buddhism in his childHood & went back to Jerusalem…It is clearly mentioned that Jesus was in INDIA…
As he was a Buddhist monk, He must be cremated but not graved…
