quick question: Clearing PERSONAL STATEMENT ?!?!?

i aplied through clearing somewhere and it is different course from what i applied on ucas
so the personal statement is different
but before that i made a new persoal statement for a course that is different to the one i am applying through clearing but itdoes relate

but the uni emailed me saying to create a new personal statement for the course i am applying to

my concern is

what structure should i follow
what context should i write in

im so confused
do i still mention what inspired me
or do i talk about why i dont wanna do what i intially applied for

Forget everything you put before and start from scratch about why you want to study this new course. Make no reference to any previous application.
