Applied for student finance then changed course, now telling me to submit childcare g

The website is telling me to return a childcare grant form, even though I have no children.

I rang student finance and was told to just ignore the form, but my student finance has shot up £1000 for no reason, my parents haven't submitted any new evidence. just wondering if this is an error calculating my loan, as I don't want to be £1000 short next year if they decide it was an overpayment.

The woman on the phone told me it was correct, although what is said on the phone and what is actually true is two different things.
