Simplification With powers Help

Hello,

I'm sure this is a simple question, but it has puzzled me.

21a3b2 ÷ 7ab4

Please help with simplification.

Thanks in advance.

Are you cognisant of the laws of indices? I would advise simplifying the integers first and then looking at terms in a,ba, b.

Thanks for that

in the first bit is there 21b2 or just 12?

Also in the second bit is there 7b4 or just 1b4?

Thanks.

21×a3×b27×a×b4 \dfrac {21 \times a^3 \times b^2}{7 \times a \times b^4}
