Water or squash first when making squash drinks?

Poll

Whcih order?

Following on from the epic tea debate, a different discussion on whether to put in the water or the squash first arose in the thread and this needs to be put to rest.

a) squash first, then fill with water

b) Water first then top up with squash

c) simultaneously pour in squash whilst filling up with water

Does anyone do this? Ever? (Like... ever?)
Squash first then add water. Makes sense.

Yea but what happens when you accidentally put in too much squash then don't realise until the glass is full. :frown:

You then either have to drink weird strong squash until you can add more water or have to throw some away to make space.

Ratio of squash to water is 1:2
Squash first...

WHAT? It's clearly 1 to 5 or 1 to 10 with double concentrate...

I think a new thread needs to be made to settle this as well now.

Get a drink and drop something really heavy on it

I actually like my squash really sweet  but when is a tad strong even for me I pour some out and add water or get a bigger cup, pour all of it in and then add more water

No-one is in that much of a hurry!
Squash goes in first. Otherwise it's too weak.

Crazy. Can't believe you waste some by pouring it away!

Give your sweet tooth a treat then drink some of it:colone:then add more water...

I like it sweet anyway.

Tbh that's what i do but sometimes it's a bit sickly then puts me off the rest of the drink.

Surely if you left enough room at the top you could make it the same strength?

:five: Sensible choice.
Always squash first. Whenever i put it in after the water it doesn't taste normal.
Water first, then fill up with squash!!

The squash makes nice patterns in the water!

I know right, it is horrible. Robinson's would be mortified.

robinsons obviously love yours since you're using double the squash so they would sell twice as much!
Also, me and puddles literally just went and made some squash in TSR Towers to take photos for her "water first makes the water look cool" idea.

I don't think it spreads as evenly through the drink if you put the squash in second. So, maybe, pockets of the drink have more flavour than others.

Interesting, so the force of the large volume of water is useful for stirring the drink?
