I went ahead and read extracts of the parts where they had sex. For some reason I get extremely annoyed that so many people consider this "hardcore" BDSM. Frankly, it's a manual on how not to do BDSM. As lamyers1 said... some of it's a bit ethically questionable as there are times where consent is extremely vague.
It's horrible.

The trailer legit pissed me off. Notice how the guy is a legit male model and the girls is a little plain, just a bit above average? This tries to give off the message that any plain looking girl can get a 10/10 male in bed and standards are about to shoot up ten fold. I asked my cousin why the girl is plain, straight from her mouth: "the girl is supposed to be really plain. thats one of the reasons why girls love the book so much. thinking they can be plain and catch a 10 who wants her and no one else lol". Things may about to get worse when this movie comes out. Brace yourselves.

And then I was just laughing so hard in the comments section when fat whales were saying he's not fit for the role. Women's standards have reach out of this world at this point. In the future you'll have to have a male model face, be 6'5'', 300lbs ripped at 10% body fat, have a 10 inch penis and own two planets just to get an obese girl.
