The two courses seem pretty different.

I would look to major in earth science at UEA. The earth science course the if geological society accredited, just like geology at Cardiff...so I don't think they can be too different.

That is what draws me to UEA though, nat sci allows more flexibility, so in case I change my mind about earth sciences, it is easy enough to change pathways, eg to a biological field for example.

The course at UEA sounds better then. Cardiff seems really nice, but UEA seems to have a slight edge.
