Studying maths at a french university?

Does anyone know the language requirements needed to study in France and also how much funding is available to study a year abroad??? Would be really helpful thanks :s-smilie:
Probably a B1 in CEFR, maybe B2 and evidence that you're studying towards a C2

To study at undergraduate level as an independent student you need at least B2 level in the TCF, DALF or DELF exam to get accepted by a French university.

However, if you mean as part of an Erasmus exchange then it's more flexible. I've met Erasmus students in Paris with only fairly basic knowledge, but at least B1 would be advisable.
Not sure I could deal with the heavy workload of French Uni myself.

I understand that École Normale Supérieure is great for mathematics. Their higher education system works a bit different than the standard bachelor-master structure, though. Here you can find some information about applying as an international student.
