    Hey hey,
Am just looking at accomodation now and am definitely into Devonshire. I am thinking of Catered though, just because I will be too lazy to make food and am not keen on sharing a kitchen with people as I am slightly OCDish with Hygiene! On what you have heard from catered people in the halls would you recommend it? It's all so confusing!

The catered people I've spoken to have said it's decent food in Dev. The only downside is set meal-times, but you'll get that wherever you go for catered accom.

Yeah he's really sociable so it isn't too bad and he quite enjoys being the unique one - though personally I'm not going to be picking devonshire because of it - though it is REALLY nice! He's in catered

Hey, I'm currently in Dev self-catered. It's true that there are quite a lot of 'rahs', but they tend to stick together, so it's fairly easy for us normal people to find each other!
The rooms are a decent size, in fact I have the biggest one in my flat and it's mahoosive. The kitchen's great too, it was refurbished this summer- loads of cupboards, nice surfaces, good fan oven and gas hob, plus a microwave and a kettle. My only real complaint about the flat itself is that it's not great for just hanging out and chatting with your mates- there's a kitchen table we can all sit around, or we can sit in someone's room, but other than that you'd have to go elsewhere to find a nice squidgy sofa you can have a natter on.

I do sometimes feel that the flats here are quite insular- you really have to make an effort to go and see people, and that can be quite daunting when the majority of the people you see are messy-haired, Jack Wills-worshipping people who don't seem to want to talk to anyone who doesn't owna pony. But there are some normal people here! Like moi. And all my mates
    So no worries.

Oh, we also have the most amazing cleaning lady... but I don't know if they're all like that in Dev or if we're just lucky in my flat
