Taking GCSE during uni year 2
Hi all,
As per the title, during my second year I will be taking my English GCSE again as I was very lazy when I finished school 10 years ago. I am also taking my Math's GCSE exam in November which I am doing myself.
Does anyone have any advice on how to balance my uni work with this GCSE work?

Hi,
I studied GCSE English and Maths alongside my Access to Arts and Humanities and I have to say it was a struggle. It was very difficult trying to fit everything in and my Access course grades began to suffer, in the end I didn't attend any of the lessons and did very little revision for the GCSE subjects. I would certainly not recommend doing this in your second year; why do you have to retake them may I ask?

When I was in school I was just really lazy and I guess in with the wrong crowd. Now I have moved on a lot I need to just get on with life. On top of this I have a job to help support my wife and stepdaughter, I have my maths exam in November so it is just the English which I will be dealing with.
