I've considered doing it in the future but I don't think I'd be able to to be honest. If I did it and didn't have any children of my own I'd upset me too much knowing my biological child was out there being raised by someone else...the jealousy would be too much :frown:

I'd take the expenses, but really I would see it as a public service. I'd probably pass on the hooker.

no I wouldn't I have a kid right now, I would never have a child and not be in his/her life so wouldn't donate my sperm as I have this weird thing about looking after my offspring.

Fair enough. TBH I would have no problem with the "my child" issue, as I would have no emotional connection whatsoever with the result, although the idea of a complete stranger contacting me 18 years later is mildly disconcerting. Although not a deal-breaker.

No, it isn't. Which is why I'm full of admiration for egg donors; they are selfless and providing a wonderful service to people less fortunate than themselves.

But I get the reservations.
