Yet another thread about prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h)

So the user Baldness couldn’t have been more original by creating this thread 'Was Muhammed a pedophile ?' (Couldn’t even spell the word) I just wanted to commend fellow Muslims on TSR for not wasting their time by largely ignoring the thread, which serves no purpose other than to provoke Muslims. As another user said they predict this thread has been created well over 200 times in the last 6 years they have been on the forum. My question is if Baldness and other users who have created the same thread have such a problem with this, shouldn’t they be more worried and be doing something about a current issue which exists in their society presently?

you do realise there is active attempt to hunt down, identify, arrest and condemn such individuals. Does not happen for muhammad however. In addition such people are not held to be the best a person can possible be. When such facts are discovered these people are totally condemned by society and every attempt is made to help those they harmed, figure out the scope of what they had done and try and prevent it ever happening again. So i congratulate you on raising awareness for such issues. But surly if it is okay for Muhammad it should be okay for these people.

Thanks for a sensible reply, you know the answer to this question already, obviously Muslims do not see these people the same way as they see the Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h).

what i have always wondered is what they think when they see statistics regarding death during childbirth (something that is almost exclusively due to giving birth at a young age).

It is truly hypocritical to condemn and actively hunt down such people in our society but then do no such thing for others. Unless of course you believe in moral subjectivity/ he was the exception to the rule

Again you will get this same reply from all Muslims; the links above are what is currently happening in Britain today in the 21st century. We don’t believe the prophet (p.b.u.h) was an exception to the rule, we wouldn’t condemn a man if he done the same thing 1400 years ago during the time of the prophet (p.b.u.h). A society that existed 1400 years ago is not the same as one that exists today, the two are simply incomparable.

so you believe in total cultural relativity. So the only reason these actions are wrong is because we condemn them.
