When you're stuck in central London overnight..

So my coach didn't bother making it's presence known and I'm stranded in central London and all hotels are full or extortionate. Victoria station is closed. Where is the best place to avert mugging and stabbing?

Start by not wasting your phone battery on TSR. Don't you know anyone here that can let you stay the night?

Hang around a train station or 24 hour McDonalds. Phone the coach company and demand a hotel.
police station? I'm sure they will let you know where you can find a cheap place to stay or help at least.

Do you have enough money for a taxi ? Try Euston Station or finding a 24 hour tesco or 24 hour Mcdonalds.

Actually a Mcdonalds is your best bet, download the app and find the nearest one. Wait at Mcdonald's for about 4 hours then you can get a train to where ever.

Failing that just wait outside 10 downing street near trafalgar square it the safest place in the country
Most of my experience in London at night has been with a muscular Ukrainian friend around to protect me, but you could just go somewhere like Trafalgar Square, which tends to be busy. Alternatively, try walking through Hyde Park, it is not safe per say, but it is very nice at night time (when you are not being stabbed)

(Sorry not to be of more help)

walk to Hackney stand on a box and publically extole the virtues of white supremacy that i saw you post on tsr previously.
Go casino in leicester square or something? Free drinks (soft) if you become a member (free) great fun and you might win a bit of money if you play smartly! That or go to Riley's lol

Well I ended up asking some lads for directions and they were in a similar rut so we hunger out. Found some Starbucks Wi-Fi, then slept on the coach station floor, then slept in the shelter when they opened it at 5am. Caught the 8am coach and slept on that.

Does demanding a hotel from the national express ever work? They seemed very nonchalant about all the stuff they seemed to have screwed up. Booking ten people onto one seat with all of them refusing to leave was the most amusing.
