CV's? Are they used in applying.

I have seen a post on another forum saying that some people send in their CV beacuse the PS cant show everything about the candidate.

Is sending your CV to the UNI a good idea? would they even read it :biggrin:

Just fill in your UCAS form, its basically a glorified elaborate CV. No point in sending anything extra in my opinion.

It's the policy of most unis to not read any extra material sent in addition to the UCAS form

Oxbridge provide a space on their supplementary (in addition to UCAS) application forms for information not in the PS that you consider relevant. Unless they have something particularly pertinent to the Oxbridge application, most people leave it blank. I don't know whether other universities have similar forms.
