Dreaming about medicine

I had a surgical dream last night.

In the dream, I was undergoing a competency-based assessment (for those of you not yet familiar with ISCP, this is one of the ways HSTs are regularly assessed)

Having checked the notes and consent, I positioned my patient on the operating table; marked my operating field; checked with the scrub nurse that we had the appropriate instruments and equipment; got the ODP to adjust the lights and check the equipment was working; scrubbed up; prepped and draped, and started to operate.

The Consultant stood behind me and pointed out that I'd forgotten something. I looked into the wound and saw that I was operating without gloves.

I was so embarrassed that I woke up.

it's getting to you. i would advise that you don;t smoke weed as thatll give u bad nightmares, crossed with your normal dreams could be a recipe for disaster.
Dont do drugs kids, it's wrong!
