Assignment topic?

I need help with a class assignment in Lit class, to come up with interesting topics. We have to select a topic and analyse two poems\short stories relating to it (one theme). I am interested in feminism and strong women characters but I don't have a specific topic or question in mind, any ideas?

Like I said, I am thinking about selecting works that focus on strong women characters, maybe comparing historical characters to more modern ones?
