Yes, got my last results last week and got offers from Queen Mary, King's College and University of Birmingham earlier this year.

You've been duped by whoever told you top Universities do not accept access courses. They wouldn't have the entry criteria on their website for starters.

Idiot.

How old are u and what course are you planning to study?

My parents are not married( nearly 34 years together through). Only my dad works and I know he gets paper P45's through the post but I don't know if he keeps them and for how long.( I have just thought of something else but I better not publically post that.)

I know what you're thinking of, and technically it's quite possible to do without getting caught. Once you get the student finance there is no follow up communication so I'm sure you could quite easily get away with it.

I don't think you have got what I am thinking about( it's not about avoiding the finance but hiding non money related incorrect stuff in the past

As I have mentioned on other threads because my college is axing it's A level courses, I have had to stop A Levels after AS and am now doing an Access to Law course. I would then apply to study a law degree (not my first choice but the only access course I liked the sound of at my college).
I am only 18 at the moment (college has got a special exemption to allow me and some of my old AS class mates to do this course.). If I meet the entry requirements and other requirements will I be rejected because I have done an access course at 18?

I feel ill at the moment so apologies for the brevity.

Don't do access as they are looked as unfavourably relative to A level and BTEC. If you can't do law A level; is there any chance that you can do a Law BTEC? Have a look at universities that do a Law LLB and see what their requirements are, to give you some idea.

It is not offered at my college and cant change colleges now because of my special needs having been arranged and abusive dad who would not understand and accept it( At the moment I am escorted to college. Over the next year my mum will gradually decrease that if the college permit it and without my dad knowing but it's too soon to do it now and she didn't want to travel any further.
The access course sounds quite hard why is it looked down on. My college said plenty of people have got into to University's having studied the course.

Yes that why I am studying it because I wouldn't have to change college( Law is not my choice I wanted to study history but no access course for that was offered at my college and I have been told that I can't apply for History degrees having done Access to Law courses.)

What universities can you get into with that course. That's the main thing

You don't want to do law, but rather history?

Call the police if he is abusing you, they'll move you into a hostel and you'll be free of him.
