MA in Psycholinguistics at Uni of Essex
hi there,
I am going to start MA in Psycholinguistics in Oct 2014 (part time).
Was wondering if anyone here is already enrolled in that programme.. if so, whats the experience? Any piece of advice? What are the chances to do the follow up to PhD at the university?

MA not MSc? If you don't do a research project, you might not have a great chance at a PhD. In this case, you should really seek out your own research experience during the MA - email professors whose work interests you and ask if they have any opportunities in their lab. Otherwise, there will be many more applicants who will beat you when it comes to PhD, that or funding will be much harder to come by.
