Writing a letter to principal, any advice :)?

Hi 😊, I wasn't too sure what category to put this under as I don't use TSR that much.
Here is my situation: I'm going into year 14 (13 in England) in the next few weeks and I would like to write to my teacher and principal about becoming my schools AntiBullying co-ordinater and take students to anti bulling events and help them become ambassadors. Our school has a great anti bullying policy, but no programme as such. My school know that I am a very passionate anti bullying ambassador, and I have been asked to lead workshops during AntiBullying week with local schools, but I wanted to ask them through a letter, and I'm not too sure how to word it, I understand that it's a busy time of year and I want to include that within my letter. If anyone had any ideas of how I could structure my letter, and what to include, it would mean a lot, thanks 😊
