paranoid/anxiety/panic 'Attacks'?!

Hey love I've been through exactly the same thing, I had it for years and didn't know what was wrong with me so I went the doc and they told me it was social anxiety disorder (worrys about what people think of you, and all varied things about social aspects of your life including public transport. I was put on beta blockers which stop your heart racing and then depression tablets for over 6 months. Whilst on them I went into 3 months of therapy for cognitive behaviour therapy (which is changing how you think) I would recommend going to your GP and taking the same route I did, it's not easy but you will get better. Xx

Hi everyone, thanks for all your support

I finally managed to go see a doctor this morning. Took the advice of writing down my symptoms and told them that my uni offer 6 cbt sessions and that I was planning to go to them when I go back to uni end of September.

Doctor gave me a prescription for propanolol and told me it is to ease my symptoms until I go back to uni for cBT.

Hope this all works out ...
