Is the 850i a little too much of a guzzler for you? Even at 1p a litre for fuel?

I'd love to try out this one...Used to love it when I played on Total Immersion Racing :sogood:

Aaah the good times on that game...:moon:

I prefer the smaller V8 since it has a nicer noise and drives better
The 850CSI is too crazy for everyday driving

Realistically, with what I could afford to buy and insure at the moment, it would take a lot to draw me away from an E38 750i.

Why manual over SMG? The SMG was so sweet in the E46 M3!

That's normally how I feel but SMG is the best of both worlds. It needs to be experienced to be appreciated. Having tried both manual and SMG e46 M3s, I'd pick the SMG any day.

I have driven both, and an E92 SMG and I still think the manual is the better car.

SMG is undoubtably slightly faster at 10/10ths on a track, but the manual is a lot more fun.

Each to their own

SMG goes pop and it's a 4 grand bill when it does.
