My course in clearing

If your course has already gone into clearing does that mean there is a better chance of me getting the offer from that university? My thinking is, there will be more places so a higher chance of getting in OR it's gone into clearing because more people didn't meet the grades. What's your honest opinion about what this means for me.

It could mean either to be honest. Your course may have been under-subscribed, leading to more clearing places and/or the university being more lenient on grades. It could also mean nothing.

My course has gone into clearing too - at first I was like yay but now I'm not sure if it makes much of a difference!
Hello,

There's lots of reasons that a course may have spaces for clearing. I wouldn't look too much into it. Try not to worry too much and good luck for tomorrow!

Do not assume it means that you will be accepted with lower grades than required. This is a common mistake.

All it means is that they have some spare places.
It doesn't tell you anything meaningful about your results, or if you have a place or not.
