Has anyone else had their confirmation email yet or head anything from Warwick?

You should be receiving a welcome pack in the post  and your department might send you an email to confirm your place

UCL was my firm. The offer specified A* in Maths, which I missed, but they wouldn't budge. Still very happy with Warwick though! The holidays went so quickly, we'll be there in a month or so!

Wow! That's an insanely tough offer! Warwick should be great though, just can't wait to get started! They really did, can't believe it's been like 2 months since exams

I'd recommend you get FB - it will help a lot for you to track events, join departmental pages (so you can all discuss your course and such) and keep up to date on the nights out. Even if you don't use it much, it's very useful for that.

You usually wear some silly stuff to Pop but I don't think any of them are serious fancy dress things.
SU events are normally about £5, with bigger ones sometimes being more. So I guess if you're planning on going to more than 7/8 club nights (stuff in the Copper Rooms) then it might start to be worthwhile, especially if they make the bigger events more expensive.

I think they try and split you up by surname over the 27th and 28th but apparently most come on the 27th and they should do so you can get in first with fridge and cupboard space, plus get to know everyone and have the first night out of freshers
