Undergraduate Psychology (BSc) Sheffield Hallam University

Hi, I've recently joined TSR and I wanted to know if anyone is also starting the Undergraduate Psychology course (C800) at Sheffield Hallam University like me! It'd be really great if I could meet other people who are also doing this course so I feel less alone!

Great! I'm so happy that there are quite a lot of people studying the same thing as I am! It feels so daunting yet amazing at the same time!

Neither have I. I saw on another forum that the places for Liberty Court and Victoria Hall, have been allocated already, both being my 1st and 2nd choice.
I can't help but feel that given results where out less than 24hrs ago, that somebody has had information, that has been misunderstood/ a general miscommunication. I hope so anyway!!

Where have you applied?

I really hope I get to meet all of you! I decided to take a year out last year and so all of my friends are a year above me, which I don't mind that much as it was the best thing for me and I still keep in touch with all of them, even so it would be nice to meet people who are starting this year!
I decided to live at home for my first year to save up, as I live about twenty minutes away and then I might look at accommodation for my second year

I'm a year older as well. I was a little bit apprehensive about that, but glad to know that I'm not the only one who's not 18 haha!!

I'm twenty in October and my older brother went to Hallam and had a class with people who were aged from 18-38 year olds and made some really great friends so I wouldn't worry about it too much

Hi I will also be studying Psychology at Sheffield Hallam in September. I was also thinking about staying at home this year and then applying for accommodation next year, I'm just scared that living at home may mean I meet less people.

I hope i get to meet you as well, hopefully i'll see you at lectures!! I did an extra year at school so all my friends are going into their second year at uni as well
So essentially we are all 19 haha get in! I can't wait to go now! So looking forward to it! I'm more nervous about who I'm going to be put with into flat than I was for results! I've seen threads on here of people asking if there are clubs for people who don't drink and socialise. Hope I don't get stuck with a flat full of anti drinkers!!
