Detectives investigating a claim of sexual abuse have searched a property belonging to Sir Cliff Richard.
The home in Sunningdale in Berkshire is currently still being searched after police gained a warrant.
The allegations date back to the 1980s and involve a boy who was aged under 16 at the time.

UPDATE: Statement from Cliff:[INDENT]“For many months I have been aware of allegations against me of historic impropriety which have been circulating online. These allegations are completely false. Up until now I have chosen not to dignify the false allegations with a response, as it would just give them more oxygen. However, the police attended my apartment in Berkshire today without notice, except it would appear to the press. I am not presently in the UK but it goes without saying that I will cooperate fully should the police wish to speak to me. Beyond stating that today’s allegations are completely false it would not be appropriate to say anything further until the police investigation is concluded.”

My personal guess would be that lots more 'old rockers' will be in the frame. For one thing, some ageing rock stars like members of the Stones have even admitted in their autobiographies that they had sex with quite young teenagers. It's only a matter of time before the full truth comes out. There has been talk that some of them have been 'protected'.

As someone else said in the thread, a bunch of politicians will also be next.

My gran loves him and the whole family joke about him being a paedophile. It was always just a joke of course but if this turns out to be true I wouldn't be surprised. He's always seemed way too perfect to me.
