and how did you find teaching in general? because I've heard it is not very organised..

Well I can only comment on my induction week back in a very very cold mid September. It was very busy to say the least, induction for post grads ran along 2 weeks. We had a mixture of talks, lessons, group tasks and FOOD!!! :biggrin:

Teaching is good in general. What QMUL excels at is research. They have got some big guns in the economics and finance school, such as Emmanuel Guerre.

I had my fair share of good teachers and bad ones. It is organised I would say, all lectures are planned and you have set tutorials to do.

Anyone here doing Physics? Can't wait to start, but now need to find a place to stay since there was no priority given to people who live in London. Does anyone know about private accommodation and any good places? Thanks
