Two female Italian aid workers who ignored their parents’ pleas and snuck into Syria have been kidnapped by Islamist militants

The full gravity of the situation in Syria must have eldued them. The reality of war is infinitely worse than what we see in the news and on TV. I fear that these girls are now going to become a part of that reality.

I hope that they don't get rape.
What's the point of these people going over there? really what good can they do in a place like that. Unless they're doctors.
