Cashing-in A Level Units

My school makes the candidates do their own paperwork, so while filling up my application form for AS exams back in March, I ticked the AS cash-ins. Now after getting my results, I'm panicking. Can I cash-in the same units again for an A Level certificate? Basically are AS level units "spent" once cashed-in, or can they be re-cashed-in? My board is Edexcel

It makes no difference if you 'cash in' or not. Grades are never 'lost' or 'spent' and the higher grade, whether first or second attempt, over-ride the lower ones.
