Rejecting University firm choice.

Hey. I've recently decided to take a gap year and I've canceled my student finance and accommodation but I forgot to tell the Universities I applied for and I got my A-Level results and into my firm Uni choice. So do I just email Salford Uni and tell them I'm not going?
