worried about money
Due to the ridiculous price of the accommodation i have been offered I am worried about having enough money. I will have £60 a week if I receive my scholarship however without it will be £40. A lot of people are saying they need at least £80 to live on a week so i'm not sure that i'll have enough money to go out and enjoy myself
It can be done. For everyone saying they spend £80 or more, there are also people posting that they manage on £30 or less. Some people even say they can cope with £15! You might need to get a part time job, but many people do. If you get the scholarship and do 4 hours a week, there's your £80. Other people don't work during term time but work loads over holidays.
You'll also need to find ways to save money. Shop at Aldi/Lidl/B and M and don't buy expensive takeaways. Think about "pre-drinking" rather than buying drinks in expensive clubs. Stock upon free pens at the fresher's fair.
