Accommodation is 1 hour away from university...

I'm not too sure how I feel about this. I've travelled to college for longer than 1 hour so I know how it is. It's extremely tiring and draining and I wanted to move away to university to get away from all that. Instead I feel back in the same situation I was before. However, I am happy that I have a university place and accommodation even if it is 1 hour away.

I know people travel from home to university and it's 1 hour away. But has anyone ever travelled from their university accommodation for 1 hour to get to university? What was your experience like?
