How successful are they? Are they really hard? Is jealousy normal in ldrs? how do people cope without any physical contact? Thanks

Why did you bump after 18 minutes?
Anyway, it depends on the people in the relationship. As long as you see each other (skype or in real life) and trust each other then it should work. I have a friend who lives in London and his girlfriend lives in Manchester, he visits her at least twice a month and they're still together a year later.
