French Work Experience

I'm going on a work experience trip to Nimes in the south of France from 14th to 21st October with Acorn Educational Exchanges and was just wondering if anyone else is (I thought there may be a small chance that there is someone!). I'm nervous because I'm the only person from my college who's going so I won't know anyone!

yeah everyone makes friends quickly on those trips. you've usually got some friends before you even get there from the coachride. we had new friends before we'd even got in the coach!

Really? That's made me feel much better :smile: I am quite a shy person.
yup its true i did one to lille last year and although there were people from my school who went with me, we all meet so many people from different schools - and some just on the coach trip up as well! also loads of people go on their own, or just 2 or 3 from one school, so you'll easily find people to talk to, and everyone generally sticks together in quite a big group anyway. xxx btw it was such a fun week so its great you're going - where are you working?

I don't know yet what job I'm doing...hopefully I'll find out this week. I put catering down as my first choice, retail as my second and fashion as my third so I hope to get one of those.
