I can't remember already from last year but isn't there a step-by-step guide provided by UCAS on how to fill up that form? I'm so sure you could ring UCAS up to ask for that Apply booklet to be mailed to you - it's very comprehensive and helpful.

I don't understand this box in the UCAS form. What's it's purpose and where can I find out if I need to fill something up here for the respective university?

For most people, they leave it blank.

You only need to fill it up if the course prospectus specifically asks you to.

For example if you're applying for Classical Languages, you'll enter the specific languages (e.g. Spanish and French) into the Further Detail box.

So what are ANcient Greek and Latin then, if Spanish and French are classical?
