Help with brackets

Hi guys!

Was just wondering if anyone could help me with...

(50/3q 1/3q2) (1/3q3 + 2q + 8)

the thing thats confusing me most is what do you do with the brackets?

is there a certain order you must subtract one number from one bracket from the other? if that makes sense. Or do you just work out in side the brackets first then subtract.

Any help with be much welcomed

thanks fellas! :}

I'd say always Brackets first because of BODMAS? Could be wrong

I have no idea what you were trying to type but when you remove the brackets you should end up with a positive term followed by four negative terms.

You can get rid of the brackets and change the signs in the second set of brackets.

50/3q - 1/3q2 - 1/3q3 -2q - 8

Maybe that helps? I'm not 100% sure. What do you have to do for the questions, just simplify it?
