Financial situation during year in industry?

Can someone give me the low down on what my financial situation would be during my industrial placement year? Assuming a salary of £16,067.

I'll be living in the borough of Ealing, London with parents in a flat. they get housing benefit etc. Any idea whether I would have to pay council tax and whether I'll have to pay for my share of the rent?

You won't have to pay council tax as you'll still be a full time student. And if your placement is paid you get a reduced rate maintenance loan but no means tested portion or grant.
