If this happened in the PRC, the Daily Fail would be onto this like there's no tomorrow; and then start sprouting their typical racist generalising crap; and same with their chavvy readers!

Like "Chairman Meow" which is one they had a few years ago.
Those cats were de-catitated by a serial kitten.

Sounds like a job for catwoman.

Sensational work here.
Don't they say that a lot of serial killers start out by torturing animals in this way?

Whoever is responsible could move on to humans if not found and dealt with.
That's really terrible, animal cruelty gets me so much

Tbf you don't know if the cats were killed in a cruel manner.

I'd assume if this was part of a black market restaurant offering it would be a east Asian restaurant rather than Indian/central Asia.

I don't really get the paper dismissing their value as meat? Surely if say a Chinese restaurant was offering cat (for those who knew to ask), albeit not sure why they'd want it but each to their own, they'd charge a large premium for the meat?

It's something that's said by animal fanatics what they forget is that it was a brief observation by some investigator and that frequent bed wetters and other issues are included in the serial killer checklist.

It's something that's been seen with many murderers and other violent criminals. It often gets abused by animal fanatics though - I've seen people use the argument against sport shooting when there is no connection whatsoever between them.

The last link is written by someone with vested interests and the first one doesn't mention it's source but at least adds a little balance to the debate.
I wonder how peoples opinions would change if the allegedly killed cats were done for the purposes of hygiene in the same way mice, rats or even pigeons carrying diseases would be dealt with.

I hope they do move onto humans and stop abusing the poor animals. There is so much scum wandering the streets of Britain that deserves a good mallet to the head but no cat should suffer like this.
