Masters Degree but student finance wont cover it, any alternatives?

I redoing first year in another University.

student finance never cover a masters, regardless of how many previous years you've studied. For some health & social work courses you may be able to get a bursary. For the rest the main options are:

-Career development loan- max of £10,000 can be borrowed, not guaranteed as you have to be credit checked
-Self fund

There are a couple of university schemes such as Warwicks and UCL's but they are super competitive and also some partial bursarys and scholarships for those that stay on.
