Did I buy a fake product? (Crest 3D whitestrips)

So I recently ordered Crest 3D Luxe Whitestrips from an auction site. The thing is, there are fake ones being made in Asia and sold on the Internet for a lot cheaper etc and I don't know if I've been sold a fake one. The packaging looks exactly how it's supposed to. Like this: https://infinitely-production.s3.amazonaws.com/uploads/assets/attachment/53aa2766f3317f6b100017b2/51lZ8bVY8nL._SX342_.jpg http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51E%2BVzrBkyL.jpghttp://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51E%2BVzrBkyL.jpg It looks exactly like that and was sealed! It says on the package: Distributed by Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati OH 45202 expiration date is 2016 BUT THEN....... I open the box and the little note that comes with it has English instructions on side and Chinese instructions on the other side... and it says on the English side: Imported by: Procter & Gamble Hong Kong Ltd Now if it is imported by Procter & Gamble Hong Kong Ltd and distributed by Procter & Gamble, Cincinnati OH.. that means it wasn't made in the US which must mean it is FAKE, right? I looked up Procter & Gamble Hong Kong and it actually looks like a legit brand http://pghongkong.com/zh-HK/ I mean there are Procter & Gamble in lots of countries...it was made by Procter & Gamble! SO. Is it stuff safe to put on my teeth and is it a knock off or not?
If you bought it much cheaper than it retails at, it is likely to be fake. Unfortunately, it is very hard to tell from the packaging if it is legit or not, people can make very good copies.
Why would you be stupid enough to buy something you are going to put into your body from an auction site? Of course it's going to be dodgy if it's cheap and not from a reputable third party company. Joe Bloggs has sold you a load of crap.
